Material Synthesis
I have studied to find appropriate synthesis process for each application. Specially, I've focused on rapid thermal process such as ETW (Electro Thermal Wave) process, combustion, and so on. Rapid thermal processes are easily making crystal defects and I've tried to find out the quantitative impact of the processes.
In addition, not only rapid processes, relatively slow processes were also studied like hydrothermal process. To make appropriate materials for each application, various processes were used like sintering condition and CVD.

Surface Science
My main research is focused on phenomena at the interface. Most transport phenomena are difficult to think in isolation from the interface. My research have tried controlling surface by various processes for each application, and I have studied about effect of it and mechanism of the process or result.

Energy Storage & Harvesting
Demands for green energy are increased due to global warming and abnormal climate. Thus, researches for energy harvesting methods without CO2 generation and storage devices become more important. Accordingly, application s of most of my researches were related with energy, especially electrochemical.
